Her 'pyramid' is almost there
And I believe there are more of us like her, hiding amongst those coconut trees, rice fields and valleys, just waiting for a chance like this.

Sometimes brownouts are a good thing
My sister and I had a good time with my nieces and nephews (at such an ironic time).
One of my nephews could play the guitar (one of my frustrations). We jammed with a few songs, and I wish he'd learn this song so we can jam to it some time.
This is one of my all-time favorites. Don't ask me why because I don't have a ready answer. It's just that there is something with this song that makes me snap my invisible hands and make me feel happy.
Especially if there is an audit report with the board tomorrow.
(Yeah, that's what's making me fucking busy lately.... but kinda loving it already.)

Jumeirah Beach Residence is not a beach
Really?
I just opened the Seven Days newspaper in Dubai and in the news, When is a beach not a beach? Yeah, now I'm asking that question, because what's the name supposed to say. The report said that the place is 'officially recognized as a beach.' So, why did they call that place Jumeirah Beach Residence if it doesn't have a beach at all? Well, the answer at the end of the article said that they were plans to turn the place into a beach park. But when? Aren't they supposed to have turned it into a park even before they opened the place for occupancy? After two deaths by drowning, I guess they will expedite their 'plans.'
So, this doesn't only happen in the Philippines.

There's not a thing that I would change
This is one of my favorite songs these days. Call me a late bloomer, no problem. But I rarely listen to radio stations. How I got to know this song? I read about Bruno Mars in the news, and I heard the song one time while a friend brought me along to pick up her kids. I asked the kids who was that singing.

I never thought it was for real until I saw this
Maria Aragon was really at Lady Gaga's concert, and I never thought it was for real, and I never thought it was this soon.
At 4:30, it only got better for Maria. This was what I was really looking for.
And I think Gaga's going gaga over Maria. Look at her look at Maria as she thanked the audience at 6:13

Take care of those memories

First Day Funk
Is this battery-operated? Because I'm just wondering what if it's brownout.
And whenever they lay down their finger on the scanner, my mind spells SARS. It just reminds me of SARS. I don't know why the hell does it remind me of it but it really does.
Anyway.
It was one hell of a first day for me. I am not one of them who had to 'touch' it everyday. I just happen to see them do it often. And this afternoon, the line was longer than those I've seen before. I approached my friend and asked, "Is this the line to the ringside?" And we both laughed.
I am sooo damn tired! But I feel good.
